Webmaster's Note: Thanks to Grant Keller for sending these photos (and thanks to Swing Bike developer Phil Brasseur for bringing the bikes out of storage!). According to Grant:

"These are LITERALLY the ORIGINAL SWING BIKES. These are the prototypes the inventor Ralph Belden and the Developer Phil Brasseur actually took to conventions and used to propel their invention into the Bicycle book of fame. They are the HANDMADE prototypes used at early 1970's trade shows in N.Y., Chicago, and Palm Springs."

"Tires and everything are original, including original stickers, face plate from the original Bonneville MFG. Title, etc. They have been parked in Mr. Brasseur's garage for nearly 30 YEARS!!"

Also shown is the one-off 3/4 sized orange Swing Bike. It is a fully functional, scaled down version of the mass produced Swing Bikes. Also note that the box shown is different from the production version as well.

If you would like a picture of your Swing Bike on the Gallery page, please send a scanned image to Bob Hufford or you can mail the photo(s) to me for scanning and inclusion on this page (include an S.A.S.E. for return of photos).
